One of the most frustrating things about being a woman is that you are often punished both ways. Whatever you decide to do, it is the wrong one, and that is something so galling to most women that they sit on the fence on so many topics and subjects for fear of getting down on one side and opening themselves up to unwanted criticism. It is exactly the same no matter what topic you pick: how you drive, how you raise your children, how you cut your hair . . .
Take cosmetic dentistry, for example. Women are constantly assessed by the way that they look and the way that they dress, whether that by in dating, at work, or in general. A woman who ‘does not take care of herself’ is often considered to be a lower class of womanhood, and this includes women with slightly yellow or gray teeth. But on the other hand, a woman who really makes an effect with her fitness, her diet, and considers having cosmetic dentistry to whiten her teeth is suddenly a ‘Barbie’, letting down other women by trying to look nice, and betraying the hope of equality that so many have.
Of course in a perfect world it just simply would not matter: a person could do what they like with their own body, regardless of gender, and no one would care or make a comment. Sadly that is just not the world that we live in yet, and so many women who would love to get cosmetic dentistry to whiten their teeth or to straighten up some of them puts aside that wish, and calls it a waste of time.
Dr Paige Woods, a holistic, cosmetic dentist in San Diego, would highly disagree. A powerful and strong woman in a field usually overwhelming male, she has run her own dental practice for years now in San Diego, and is always hopeful that she can offer a transformative treatment that will give her patients a self-confidence boost, and she sees this most often with her teeth whitening cosmetic dentistry consultations. Being able to give someone the smile that they have always wanted feels like nothing else, and Dr Paige Woods told us that more and more people now, of both genders, are starting to seek her out in order to learn more about cosmetic dentistry.
If you’re dammed if you and damned if you don’t, why not just do it? You’re never going to be able to please the entire world, and so you may as well concentrate on being able to please yourself. If having whiter and straighter teeth will make you smile more confidently, then cosmetic dentistry is not a waste of time, but could be a real life changing experience for you to have. There is no one else in this world that should be able to tell you what to do with your own body, and that includes your teeth. Why don’t you give Dr Paige Woods a call, and discover just how easy it is to be able to completely change the way that you feel about your teeth? What have you got to lose?
