Children are the God’s wonderful gift. Their smile and innocence can fill the world with wonderful colors. Children are like buds that need good atmosphere and love to blossom into flowers which can spread their fragrance into world.
But it’s a pity to see these little wonders washing dirty linens at the eating joints or serving in houses or carrying tonnes of goodies just to earn a few pennies.
Everyday, we come across the sight of several such children who have been pushed by the poverty to do odd chores. Child labor is not a new thing. From the long time back, employing small children in the industrial units have been the tradition. Small hands are seen rolling papers in the crackle producing units. Whether it is the poverty or their destiny, but it really not good for the health of children who work in inhuman conditions which can make them prone to chronic diseases, especially the ones who work in tobacco or glass manufacturing units.
Children are the future of every nation. No one has right to deprive them from the comforts or the education. Just making a few laws is not the solution to this problem. This problem needs to be curved from the root lest it is going to swallow the little angels before they grow up.
The problem cannot be sorted by the effort of any single organization, but every one should vow to act in the positive direction and join his hands in making arrangements to improve the plight of those children who have already been affected by this menace.
Let’s take a vow to let children grow.
