“Easterâ€, this word is often heard number of times, but there are a few people who know actually about it. Easter is most important day in the Christian religion. The day is associated with the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The day serves as a religious feast for the whole Christian community.
It is observed sometime between the March or in the end of April, following the cycle of the moon. It is celebrated to mark the resurrection of Jesus. His followers believed that it occurred on the third day after his death by crucifixion in the period AD 27 to 33.
It also refers to the season of the church year. It is also popularly called Easter season.In polished culture, Resurrection procession is the joyous Easter morning Mass at the dawn. The church bell ring out and explosion resound to commemorate Christ rising from the dead. Before the Mass begins, a procession with the Blessed Sacrament beneath a canopy encircles the church.
As church bells ring out, hand bells are shaken vigorously by the altar boys. The air is filled with incense and the faithful raise raise their voices heavenwards in a joy and sing hymns in the praise of almighty. After this, Blessed sacrament is carried around the church and adoration is complete.
